Networking lunch for business mums - Cath Kidston talks
by Laura Holt
Local mothers searching for advice on how to launch or expand a new business should consider joining the Business Mums’ networking group in Chiswick.
Designed to gather working women together to share information, the group meets regularly in the west London area for coffee mornings and lunches.
Their last meeting featured interior design guru Cath Kidston, who gave such an interesting speech during the two-course lunch at Brasserie Gerard, that attendees barely noticed BAFTA winner Colin Firth casually sauntering past the window.
Their next lunch on Wednesday 21 April will feature a talk from journalist Antonia Chitty, who runs her own PR company and has penned numerous books about the challenges of combining work with parenting.
It costs £22 per person to attend the talk and enjoy a two-course lunch at Brasserie Gerard, 163-165 Chiswick High Road, Chiswick, W4 2DT.
